Qualification for nursing and care assistance

The measure is aimed at participants who would like to complete a qualification in the area of nursing basic courses with integrated care assistance, including an internship.

The aim of the further training is to impart basic professional, social and communicative skills for an activity in the nursing and support area.

The participants are specifically prepared for typical situations in everyday care. This includes in particular the sensitive communication with people in need of care, the respectful treatment of relatives and the cooperation in the interdisciplinary team. In addition, content such as nursing documentation, hygiene regulations, legal basis and organizational processes are taught in a practical way.

An integrated internship allows the participants to apply the knowledge they have acquired in a real working environment and to gain their first professional experience. This makes it easier to enter the professional field and promotes the development of practical skills.

In addition, social-pedagogical support offers as well as career-oriented and individual counseling services are provided. These serve to stabilize the learning process, to promote personal and professional development and to strengthen personal initiative, motivation and employability.
